Almanac

A daily almanac and today’s directions

The traditional Chinese almanac for every day: suitable and unsuitable activities, auspicious and inauspicious stars, clashes and the twelve two-hour periods. Browse forward and back.

  • Hold your phone flat and turn it: the compass shows the day’s auspicious directions
  • Reads the compass heading only, no location access
  • Everything is computed on the device and works offline

Auspicious days

Find a good day for what you plan

Choose what you plan to do, such as a wedding, moving house, opening a business, signing a contract, travel or renovation, and a date range. You get suitable days, the reasons, and good hours on each day.

  • Show only weekends and holidays, or only auspicious days
  • Skip days that clash with your zodiac sign
  • Save a day as an important date with one tap

I Ching

Shake to cast an I Ching reading

Think of a question and shake your phone: three coins rattle in a tortoise shell and fall onto the table, six times, to form a hexagram.

  • The original texts with plain-language notes (in Chinese)
  • An interpretation that takes the hour and the day’s almanac into account
  • Copy the reading with one tap; your history stays on the phone

The almanac, auspicious days and I Ching readings are for entertainment and cultural reference only, not a basis for decision-making.
